Big K-Pop-Show in Düsseldorf
Five South Korean Stars at the „KPOP Big 5 Concert“
On Saturday the 4th May 2019 five South Korean Popstars will come to Germany for the „KPOP Big 5 Concert“ in Dusseldorf at the Mitsubishi Electric Hall.
These young groups will perform: EXID, Astro, Stray Kids, KARD and soloist Ailee. The event is a cooperation of the German-Korean organizer NET Entertainment and the South Korean agency Donuts Music N.
K-Pop, short form for „Korean Pop Music“, is increasing worldwide popularity and is known for catchy melodies and high-quality produced performances. In addition to the show, the audience of the “KPOP Big 5 Concert” also will get the opportunity to meet the stars in person and to take a shared picture with the stars at the event “FIVE & LIVE”
Tickets will be available on the 8th March via CTS Eventim and Tickettoaster.
Which Bands will rock the Stage?
Stray Kids (SKZ, Hangul: 스트레이 키즈; RR: Seuteurei Kijeu) is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show of the same name. The group is composed of nine members: Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. The group released their extended play Mixtape in January 2018 and officially debuted on March 25 with “I Am Not”.
EXID (Hangul: 이엑스아이디; short for “Exceed in Dreaming”), is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group currently consists of five members: Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin and Jeonghwa. EXID debuted in February 2012, with the single “Whoz That Girl”.
Astro (Hangul: 아스트로) is a South Korean boy group formed by Fantagio in 2016. The group is composed of six members: JinJin, MJ, Cha Eun-woo, Moon Bin, Rocky and Yoon San-ha. They debuted with the single “Hide & Seek” from their debut EP Spring Up, and were subsequently named by Billboard as one of the best new K-pop groups of 2016.
After releasing three mini-albums in 2016 and even holding their own concerts, they were able to claim a place among the most outstanding rookies in 2016.
KARD (Hangul: 카드, also stylized as K.A.R.D or K♠RD) is a South Korean mixed gender group formed by DSP Media. They are composed of four members J.seph, BM, Somin and Jiwoo. They officially debuted on July 19, 2017 with the EP Hola Hola.
Amy Lee (born May 30, 1989), known professionally as Ailee, is a Korean-American singer and songwriter based in South Korea.
Before her K-pop debut, Ailee was signed under Muzo Entertainment in America. She moved to South Korea in 2010, where she passed an audition and became an artist for YMC Entertainment. After being recognized for her singing on Singer and Trainee, she started acting on the KBS drama series Dream High 2.
